We are proud that our constructions have been highlighted on the Polish web portal Inzynieria, in particular Casa Sophia and our sustainable construction project. We appreciate that the projects we carry out have visibility both inside and outside of Spain. We translate below what they write about us: The Pyramids of Egypt, the Empire State Building in New York and the Tower of Pisa in Italy are examples of human activities that have left their mark on history. Today, however, the construction sector leaves behind more than just buildings. This sector consumes almost 55% of the world's electricity and otherwise contributes almost 40% of the world's total CO2 emissions. Given the environmental impact of this industry, measures to reduce or optimize the energy consumption of this segment would help us reduce the negative impact on the planet. One of these activities are energy audits carried out as proposed by the EU project INNOVEAS. Most people dream of having their own house. 100×100 Biopasiva is a Spanish company specialized in the construction of biopassive homes and buildings with high energy efficiency and low energy consumption.
Since biopassivity also means the use of only 100% natural building materials, these houses fit perfectly into the strategy of protecting our planet. The company was founded in 1994, since then it has been working to achieve a Turkey Email List minimum level of energy consumption in built buildings, and since 2014 it has complied with the most demanding energy efficiency standard, Passivhaus. As Raquel Peláez, manager of 100×100 Biopasiva, explains, for our new show house, Casa Sophia, we focused on maximum energy efficiency and achieved maximum durability of the building. For this we have obtained several certificates and quality marks. First of all, we have obtained the PASSIVHAUS PREMIUM certificate because it will be a passive house that will generate more energy than it consumes. Next, we receive the GREEN ENVIRONMENTAL SEAL certificate with the five possible levels and a score of 92%. Finally, we have received the RECYCLE and ZERO WASTE SEAL quality certification by treating and reusing 100% of construction waste. Due to all these “green” features, this house has a good chance of becoming the most sustainable home in Europe this year.

The path to energy efficiency doesn't seem so difficult after carefully identifying processes that could be improved beforehand. According to Jure Kristana, senior team manager at Komunala Kranj doo, energy efficiency improvement measures are not difficult to implement . It is important to first identify the processes and areas that are not effective and find solutions that improve the situation. If the proposed solution saves energy and is financially beneficial in the long term, there should be no problems with its implementation. The Slovenian company began operations in 1990 and energy efficiency has been part of its strategy since then. To date, the company has improved the pumping systems, the heating system and installed an energy management system. The company has also switched to LED lighting and uses energy-efficient vehicles and produces its own biogas from the sewage system. While activities such as those described above, for example, require a significant upfront investment, there are ways to minimize their burdensome impact on your finances.
